KOTAK BANK - 1D TF - 1300KOTAK BANK at a very important juncture. Multiple times taken support at this level in the past couple of months. It's unusual that the bank that has remain quite resilient in these past months has started showing some weakness. Well nothing concrete till 1300 is hold. Hourly closing below 1300 would be a nice confirmation or just look at the volume candle on a 5 minutes Intraday Chart.HDFCBANK & HDFC are already weak, KOTAK BANK breaking 1300 will drag the index lower. AXIS BANK is good till 425, ICICI till 353. SBIN will simply follow. I'm learning chart patterns as of now. You can plan your trades accordingly if you know how to trade these patterns.

ICICI BANK - 1D TF - Parallel ChannelICICI BANK is moving in a parallel channel and has reached it's lower part, where, it has taken support in the past. 353-354 seems to be the deciding level for the stock in short term. Big Change only on moving below 337-338. It has to sustain below the mentioned levels and not just be another trap, like it happened at he top of the channel. Will it take support at the channel and bounce back or break for the downside and halt around 350s? I'm learning chart patterns as of now. Later the theory was developed by Larry Pesavento, who wrote a book Fibonacci Ratios with Pattern Recognition. Harmonic patterns are similar to chart patterns like “Head and shoulders” in a sense that they are based on a specific shape of price action. NOW LOOKING AT SRF CHART WHAT IS MY OBSERVATIONS 1- AS PER THE PRICE ACTION - I COULD FIND OUT A HEAD AND SHOULDER PATTERNS WHICH ITSELF IS A QUITE DECENT PATTERN, TO TRADE 2- THEIR IS A STRONG TRENDLINE WHICH HAS BEEN ACTING AS A RESISTANCE 3- IT IS A POINT OF CONFUENCE WHERE IN THE HORIZONTAL RESISTAND AND VERTICAL RESISTANCE IS GETTING FORMULATED 4 we could see a clean pattern of harmonics which is called as Bearish Bat pattern Combining all the looks like SRF COULD SHOW SOLID STRENGTH All the above is my personal study, the intent on this chart is not to give you any tips/calls if you could understand the logic and see if they work in this market Stay Tuned for next chart All the best

Flags are short-term continuation patterns that mark a small consolidation before the previous move resumes. What is 'Flag' Pattern? A flag chart pattern is formed when the market consolidates in a narrow range after a sharp move. Usually a breakout from the flag is in the form of continuation of the prior trend. Flags give very high risk reward ratio which means relatively small risk and high and quick profits. Flag patterns are an integral part of technical analysis, but successful traders combine it with other forms of technical analysis to maximize their odds of success. A flag can be used as an entry pattern for the continuation of the established trend. Formation of the Flag Pattern > There are pressure areas in a stock chart, which may be a minor support or resistance, or it may even be a minor target point. In this zone some traders book profit; however the trend remains unchanged. This may result in a small swing or the price may remain flat. Both the support and resistance lines are either horizontal or sloping downwards in an uptrend or sloping upwards in a down trend, forming flag. > These patterns are usually preceded by a sharp advance or decline with heavy volume, and mark a midpoint of the move. > The pattern has a “flag” appearance because the small rectangle is connected to the pole (the large and swift move). > The move which precedes the flag portion of the pattern (the pole) must be a sharp move, nearly vertical. > Flags are often considered continuation patterns, meaning that the breakout tends to theoretically occur in the direction of the preceding move. > The formation usually occurs after a strong trending move that can contain gaps. > The pattern usually forms at the midpoint of a full swing and consolidates the prior move. Trading with Bullish Flag > Flag Buy Signal - When the price has moved higher and prices have consolidated, creating a channel of support and resistance, a potential buy signal is given when prices penetrate and close above the upward resistance line. > The pattern has completed when the price breaks out of the containing trend lines in the direction of the prevailing trend, at which point it will likely continue its course. > Targets: The length of the flagpole can be applied to the resistance line of the flag to estimate the advance or target area. Trading with Bullish Flag Pattern The sideways period is often followed by another sharp rise. This is where the trading opportunity comes in.
